Jasmine is obviously a flower name. The origin of the name is Persian and the spelling we use in English has come from the French version of the name.

Jasmine flowers have a lot of cultural  significance especially throughout Asia (in too many countries to list). They're often worn at weddings and symbolise everything from purity to wisdom to sensuality to kindness to happy and contented love.

Luke (Latin)

Luke is the English spelling of the Latin name Lucas which comes from Lucius or 'light'. It also means 'one born at dawn'.
