Lacey (English)

Nothing to do with a love of delicate haberdashery trimmings. Originally Lacey was an anglicised Norman surname meaning ‘from Lassy’. Lassy is an area in the Calvados department of Normandy, France.

Connor means commander of the hounds.

Connor means commander of the hounds.

Connor (Scottish/Irish)

Connor has two potential meanings. The origin is "Conchobhar" meaning ‘commander of the hounds’ in Irish or ‘chief who gives aid’ in Scottish. Irish mythology tells of a Conchobhar mac Nessa the King of Ulster.
